Job Responsibilities:

As we continue to grow, we are now looking to fill a Technology Operations Team Leader position at our beautiful headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

The Technology Operations Team Leader plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects. The right candidate will lead and guide the work of Technology Operations Team Members, and serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. While planning project stages and assessing business implications for each stage, the Technology Operations Team Leader monitors the progress of each project to assure we are meeting deadlines, standards, and cost targets.

Additional Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manages operations of the Technology Operations Team.
  • Develops or updates project plans for information technology projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, and funding.
  • Submits project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborates with other teams to resolve information technology issues.
  • Analyzes security of systems, network, and data.
  • Keeps inventory of technology assets such as phones, computers, tablets, laptops, software, etc.
  • Manages information communication procedures (ticket system).
  • Updates and trains IT team on all policies and procedures.
  • Interviews candidates to fill IT roles when necessary.
  • Additional duties as required by the Chief Information Officer.

Key Competencies:

  • Indicates working knowledge in SQL database, web development, and application support.

  • Displays strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrates strong analytic and research skills.

  • Illustrates ability to lead the IT team effectively.

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly resolve issues.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology related field preferred.
  • Five or more years in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of seven to ten years of experience in a technology support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft enterprise applications, operating systems, SQL database, web development, and PowerShell.

  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi and related applications (Voyager, LeasingPad CRM, and RentCafe)

  • Strong knowledge of x86 desktop hardware and printing devices.

  • Strong working knowledge and experience of customer service practices.

  • Strong working knowledge of Unified Communications, Network (LAN/WAN), Mitel Telephony, and Mobile Device Management Systems.

Employees are required to be honest andtrustworthy with a satisfactory background. A valid driver's license andreliable transportation will be required as this position will entail theoperation of a personal and potentially a company vehicle.
